Set up links so they work when copy page

I want to create a portfolio PDF where I have 10 thumbnails along the bottom of each page that will navigate to the corresponding page. I cant find a way to set this up so I only have to set the hyperlinks once in the generic page then produce 9 copies so my navigation will work. Looks like I have to set links from thumbs 1-10 manually for all the 10 pages at the moment ! Tried to set this up using 9 dummy pages to give me the pages to link then delete these and copy the generic page with the settings but it duplicates the links and also shows some with exclamation warnings which I cant re-set. Can I do this?
