Set up .bas file?? 1

Is it possible, when creating an asp site, to setup a .bas module or simular in Interdev? Kind of like V Basic? I have a connection that will be opened and closed several times on a users same trip to the site and would like to set it up so I can call "OpenCN" and "CloseCN" like I have in VB. Rob
