Hi,

I am configuring AiX auditing for some of our boxes. My problem is that I would like to apply an audit class fo all users, but I could not find out how to set it in /etc/security/audit/config file.

There is a "users = ..." line, which does not accept "all" neither "ALL". Also I did not find the solution in the pdf document "Accounting and Auditing on AIX 5L".

I have found the solution finally:

In the users stanza there is a special string to be used in place of user names: default

Something like this:

users:
root = general, TCPIP
hloova = general, TCPIP
default = general
