set up a 12 page newsletter to print

I am using Indy CS and have a 12 page newsletter which I now need to layout to print correctly when it is folded in half.

Search this forum for 'imposition' as that is what you are trying to do.

Well, I wanted to give this reply in another thread, until I saw that the other user had a book of 50 pages.
But if you regularly have a newsletter of less pages, then you can do the following:

type in the numbers in notepad, something like:
12 pages: 12,1,2,11,10,3,4,9,8,6,6,7

You can ad sequences for other numbers of pages if you like.
Save this file in a handy place.
Now when you want to print the newsletter (or print to PDF) just open that file and copy and paste the sequence (after the colon of course) into the pages-field of the print dialog.

But this only seems to reorder pages: it does not impose 2-up on a sheet that is to be folded.

There are free scripts to impose or build booklets on the installation CD and at
