SET TIME won't change after "set time" command and "save trans" on G3SI V8 is there any other command I can force the time to update?

In your system you have to make sure in your system-parameters features that System Updates Time On Station Displays is set to Y.
I am running cm 5.2 and it is on page 10 of 17..

Log on to the web interface and set the time there instead.
