Set Thumbnails/Pages to Open on Loading?

I am uploading a catalog on PDF and wondered if there is a way to get the thumbnails/pages view to open on the left by default when the catalog is opened.

Go to File~>Document Properties~>Open Options and you can choose the initial view settings which the file will open with.

Thanks - I kept looking under properties for the setting and didn't realize there was a document properties! Adobe's online help is pathetic - so glad there's a forum.
