Is there a way to change replication settings programmatically?
Our IT department is changing to a different server and we need to change replication settings to replicate to the new server. Here is their plan to convert.

"In order to make replication pages the users have to put the new server icon on their workspace then go into the replication settings and change the server then remove the server icon from the workspace. In the directions I send out I will have a button that puts all the new db's on the workspace at one time. The officer will then have to go into the replication page and change the server for each db. Then I will put another button in the directions that will remove the server icons from the workspace."

I contend that there must be a way to do all this programmatically so the 1200 users only have to click a button or run an executable to make the changes for them.

There is a new object in the Notes classes called NotesReplication. That object is contained in NotesDatabase and seems to include the necessary properties, but no method to modify them.

I guess you need some third-party tool to do what you need, unless there is some Administrator function to get it done.
In any case, it seems as if it won't be possible by programming within Notes.

Pascal.

I've got nothing to hide, and I'd very much like to keep that away from prying eyes.

OK. We'll just have to keep looking. Thanks
