Stupid question, but can you do set relocation on a CS1000?

Do you need a license to do it?

Where would I go to turn that on?

I appreciate the help!

Automatic Set Relocation should still be on your CS1000 system as a basic feature.
It uses the SPRE code and SRCD code programmed in the Customer Data Block under FTR.
Print the FTR block in LD 21.
Set relocation for a digital set:
Press DN for dial tone.
Dial SPRE + 81
Dial the SRCD
Hear a beep and phone goes dead.
Unplug the phone.
The data block for the phone is now stored.
It can be printed in LD 21 as
TYPE SRDT
Move the phone to a jack wired to a vacant digital port and plug it in.
Phone beeps and data is now on the new TN.
It is useful for switching locations of 2 phones.
Similar to using the MOV command on the terminal.
It can also cause problems if you try to store too many phones at the same time, or if you let end users do their own relocation.

and it has problems.. if only one person has the code.. and he moves one phone at a time.. it may work without a bug.. the few times i have seen a cust use it, i was there to get phones out of the relocate table..

you tend to loose tn's and dn's.. a cold restart works most of the time.. pdt access works
