Do the following:
1. If its an NT domain, login as Administrator on PDC,
2. Go to Administrative Tools and open "User Manager for Domains",
3. You should see username "Administrator" somewhere at the top, double-click it to see its properties,
4. Now enter the new password for the administrator and reconfirm it. Press "OK",
5. Logoff and then log back on again if you wish to continue working as Admin on the PDC.
Changing Administrators password on standalone servers and NT workstations is the same except you use "User Manager" for changing passwords.
Keep in mind that if you continue to work as admin on the PDC after changing the password, NT won't mind that but it would not allow you to make any new network connections.
If you find this textbook method somewhat tiring, you have a shortcut too! Give you machine a three-finger-salute i.e. press Ctrl-Alt-Del at once and see what NT offers. Interalia, it will give the option "Change Password...". Now, do I need to say more...
