I am using Oracle as backend, Segate V7.0 as report tool. I fire reports using crystal control on a vb form. to connect i use Microosft odbc DSN and send the user id and password.
My problem is when I change the database server to a different machine with same user id and password, i need to reverify all reports. Goto each report and do a set location on the tables used.
Every time i need to do a uat all my reports need to be set location . To move it onto production, I again need to do a set location. How do i avoid or solve this problem.
