Ok, this is going to sound like I am such a rookie. Well, I kinda am. I have been doing IT/Network management support for 10 years. But, when I had network equip sent to me, it always had the IP already in it. Please tell me how to set the main IP address for this switch. Then, i will use device manager to do the rest!

I am new at this position and have been tasked to do this!! So, please help quick!

This is a long shot (been a long time since I touched an 1100), but once you've gotten in through a serial cable, I believe the command is something like config vlan 1 ip 10.10.10.10 255.255.0.0. Or just type config ? and work your way through the menus.

I think the Accelar documentation is still on Nortel's website. I might be way off in this command, but hopefully it points you in the right direction.

Site Mangler is for Routers. Use Java Device Manager once you have a IP address configured. I can send you the cli commands if you wish.
