Hello,

I have a topographic drawing with lots of objects.
If I choose to view the drawing with the 3D orbit I notice that the elements are in different levels.
What I want is to place all the elements in the same Z plane. This is making equal the ‘Start Z’ and ‘End Z’ information for all the elements.

What’s the best way to do this?

Thanks in advance.

J.C.

P.S. – I’ve tried to choose all the elements in the drawing (Ctrl + A) and then choose modify – properties. But it was not possible to change the ‘Start Z’ and ‘End Z’ information for all the elements.

To set the z value of all/selected objects, use the Express Tools command "FLATTEN". Or find "flatten.lsp". If you don't have Express Tools or using a LT version, you can use the "move up & back method" -
MOVE (select objects) "0,0,0" "0,0,1e99" MOVE P "0,0,0" "0,0,-1e99" If you want objects at some other elevation, use the MOVE method again to the new z value.
