this is the basic jist of what i'm trying to do. i've been able to successfully set the value of fieldA = fieldB with no problem... but i'm having the hardest time adding fieldA to fieldB, and also sepearate the to results with a comma and one space.

basically, i'm taking fieldA (which would be the last name of an individual), adding a comma and a space, and then adding fieldB (which would be the first name of the same individual).

any suggestions?

UPDATE ...
SET fieldC = fieldA || ', ' || fieldB
WHERE ...

Hope This Helps, PH.
