Set Default Text Editor Font in VFP 6.0 1

Hello All!!!
A buddy of mine asked me how to set the default text editor font in VFP and I forgot how you do that. I know in VB it is in Tools->Options->Editor Format, but how to you globally set it in VFP? I have searched the VFP Options and the only one I saw was to set the Debugger Font. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks All.

If you are using the forms, then in the Base Form, that is the highest level (the foundation level) form can contain the fonts propertirs (fontsize etc) set. This will pass on the property to all subclassed forms and yor objective will be achieved. The same is true if you are using the _screen -and you can set it for _screen in the main prg file. ramani :-9

Hello.

When you are in editor, right click and choose "Properties". Set the font and then check "Set as default". That font will be default for that file type (.prg, for example). If you are doing this in the method code editor, will be default there.

My point is in VFP the defaults are by file type, not globally.

OK, GrigoreDolghin, I tried your method, however I cannot apply my formats to all other prgs, the checkbox is dimmed out. How do I turn that back on. Also my Save Preferences checkbox is dimmed as well, but it does have a check in it. When I change the font, tab, etc and hit OK. Save the prg, when I go back the format's do not hold. Is there an option preference I am missing. Please advise. Thanks

Hello.

I think you are not using the resource file.

Go to Tools-Options-File Locations and set the resource file. All this thing should work - I use it. Tweak the resource file.
