Does anyone know a method for setting the default 'Open File' dialog box for all applications whereby the file details are displayed by default?

Is it possible to configure this globally for all applications in one place, or are seperate registry entries required for each individual application?

Or perhaps it's just not possible - but it bugs the h*ll out of me having to click that 'File Details' option each time I need to open a file!!!

Thanx in advance for any replies
Regards
John

There is a setting in FOLDER OPTIONS under the VIEW tab. Make your changes to a Windows Explorer folder with the details then go here and click the Set like CURRENT FOLDER. This will make all folders defualt to detials view. At least thats how I do it.

Hope that helps.
