set data source location freeze problem

I have a usual set of CR 10 reports I remap to different data sets monthly. I tried to remap one this morning by the usual method with the set datasource location. My problem is on selecting this, the dialog box does not appear and the whole CR window greys out and I cannot do anything. I have to manually close the application but the application does not show as not repsponding. I have tried using other PC's in the office but they have the same response. Every other function on the CR is OK including adding new data sources but remapping is not working. Is this a crystal problem or is my dialog box appearing in the middle of nowhere so I cannot talk to it?
Kinda of stuck as my response from IT was a shrug.

I am also running into this same issue, but with CR 11. Did anyone ever find a solution?

I finally found a solution to this issue. As you mentioned, it seemed that the dialog box was opened but hidden somewhere. After some trial and error, I used the Alt+Space shortcut which pulls up the main window's system menu. I then chose "move" and dragged a box, which ultimately ended up being the Set Datasource Location, into the forefront of my screen. Give that a try and see if it works for you as well.
