Set CellPicture in MSFlexgrid without selecting the cell

Hello experts!

I've been able to set images/pictures in MSFlexgrid's Cellpicture using the sample code posted here at Tek-tips. But is it possible to set pictures without selecting the cell, something like TextMatrix(0, nCol), just specify the row and column. Or maybe I'm using the CellPicture syntax in a wrong way.

Any ideas would be a great help.

Not that I have been able to find. But in all honesty I have not tried too hard. I tried once with the .colsel and .rowsel properties without success.

If you are trying to avoid firing the entercell and leavecell events (or other events), each time you change the .col or .row, in order to assign a picture, you can set a boolean flag to skip those events when you are setting the .cellpicture property. I use the images of an unchecked check box and a checked check box to simulate a boolean field in the grid. As long as I control when not to fire the entercell and leavecell events then it all works great.
