Set BDC value through Web Service

I`m trying to add files to a document library and set their properties using Sharepoint RPC and web services( Lists web service. Method: UpdateListItems).

Everything works except for BDC fields. Their values aren`t set in SP. No validation error is generated by sharepoint. Do you know of any special format that BDC fields must respect when setting their values through the web service?
