G'day,

Just wondering if anyone knows of code to set the activeprinter to the default printer? Or even just to a port?

Not easy I think. I'm reasonably sure that to do this properly you will need the full routines to detect all of the printers including an iterative scan of all the NeOs (network ports) for Win NT upwards.

This is detailed in
If you only want to do this on 1 PC you can always fudge it by presetting the name of the active default.

Ta for that, it does look a bit full on. I am running the program on 3 different machines, all with different printers so it would be good to get this happening instead of having to change those lines of code for each comp. For the moment though I have just named each machines default printer the same. Not very thorough, but will hold for a while.
