How does sesu work? If a user from another machine needs to read a file in my home dir, is it as simple as executing
sesu - <myuserid>

Does he need to create/modify any permissions on his/my account?

thanks

sesu?!? Do you mean su?

The su command is to become another user. The dash makes it run the user's login scripts. Without the dash, it just makes you be the user. If you are logged in as root, it doesn't ask for a password, otherwise it does. Do a [tt]man su[/tt] for more info.

Hope this helps.
