Hi,

I'm running a linux box to host my site, but need to authenticate against AD here and there, so I've set apache up to Proxy to a windows box. Exact setup on both boxes.

I have the windows box on a sub domain, login, as I need to transfer my sessions from my windows box back to the linux box.

Any ideas?!

Thanks :)

the best way is that recommended by sleipnir214 in the FAQ's I believe. migrate from file session management to database session management and make sure that the database is accessible from both boxes. then the session transfer is seamless

for the first transfer, (i.e. the point at which the client moves from one domain to another) you will need to pass the session variable or customer ID or whatever you are using either in the url or in a posted variable.
