Lets say i have gd.mysite.com and mysite.com, I want to be able to login at gd.mysite.com and TRANSFER that session over to mysite.com. I used the same session IDs on both sites(userid, password) but it doesnt detect the session when i goto mysite.com any ideas?

THe simple answer is that the session is unique to the server. A session id is a uniquely generated id for each individual server. The session is stored within the memory space of the virtual server.

The way round this (and it is advised by Microsoft in the ASP documentation) is to store session data either in a cookie or in a shared database. This is a common problem and solution when using load balancing.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
