I'm running AIX 5.1 ML6. Our users currently connect using a combination of MS telnet or a commercial product called Teemtalk which uses telnet. All is working fine.
Our security team want us to migrate to ssh, scp and sftp. I have therefore downloaded and installed OpenSSL 0.9.6 and OpenSSH 3.8.1 from the IBM Developer Works site. The installation was straightforward and successful. I am using the 'out of the box' settings with no modifications to ssh_config or sshd_config. I am evaluating ssh using PuTTY and F-Secure. With both these emulators I get programs hanging. The session refuses any input and has to be killed. There are two areas where this occurs. One is using programs like 'pg' or 'more', the other is using in house 'C' programs which use the curses library. This points to some screen handling issue but I've no idea what
