Session_OnEnd not being called

I am having a problem. It seems my session_OnEnd sub is not even being called. I have tested all other aspects - even using it as a method on a test page, and it works perfectly, which is making me thing there is either a global.asa problem, or somehow it has been disabled on this server? Is that possible - seems unlikely?

This is not a session_OnEnd problem, it is decribed at that link.

I have redesigned to allow cleanup on session start instead.
