I would like to keep track of the time my database or a hidden form is open, and once the database closes to record that time in a table. Could be a timer event or simply recording the "Now()" time upon open and close.

I then want the database to advance to the next record to prepare for the next open session of Access -

Ideas?

Hi,
You could have the hidden form open first. in the On Load event of that form. open a table, add a new record, enter the current time. Update it and close. When the program is about to be closed, open the table, enter the closing time and update it.

Hope it helps you in some way.
