I know the default timeout for a session is 20 minutes, but I need to make it a little longer. Is there a way I can do this, because I haven't found one? Will Server.ScriptTimeout = #### work for the session too?

Thanks!

Yes, you can set this either on the IIS or global.asa ------------------

ok, but how? I'm looking at my global.asa and don't see anything that looks as if it increases the timeout for sessions. So either I'm missing it or I don't have it, in which case I still need to know what to put.

Thanks!

So if the default session timeout is 20 mins, I could just go:

Session.Timeout = 30
Session("LOGIN") = "Yes"

And Session("LOGIN") would be good to go for 30 minutes?

??? :)

Thanks much for the help!

yes I may not get it the 1st or 2nd time,
but how sweet that 15th time can be.
