Hi

I have problems with an asp page that timout, so I tryed to increase the Session.Timeout value. When I had that value on 900, I got a timeout - so I changed it to 9000 but I got an error that said that this was not a valid value.

Is there a max size that I don't know of?

Session.Timeout is in minutes, why would you need 9,000 minutes timeout ??

i've had timeouts set to 3600 and had timeouts in the first few minutes

supposedly it's in minutes, but doesn't seem to mesh up right sometimes.

IIS over writes the setting in the page sometimes. check IIS timeout settings to see what they are set to

you can also set the scripttimeout which sometimes has more favorable results

Hi

It sure seems that IIS override my setting, beacuse the timout occurs in just a minute. I will try to get it changed and see how this effects the application. I'll get back to you later....

Thanks for now.
