session timeout settings 1

We got some nice and Perrrty WIN2K Pro, Xeon systems in and I'm having the same problem on all of them. Any session using telnet, exceed, or any other teminal type program times out after a certain amout of time. I can't seem to find the setting for this. Basically we need to keep these sessions open for monitoring perposes. Any hints?
