Session Printers PERMANENT? PRES4.0....

If we have a policy setting where a session printer is to be created for a number of users or groups etc, if the policy is removed the printer remains in the users profile.

Is this by design or a definite fault? We have users ending up with 20 of the same or similar printer now, because they have either moved, or got new drivers etc, been renamed, eitherway its getting out of control.

Is there somethign i can do to flush the users roaming profile for 100 users? I was under the impresison that citrix was supposed to do the printer sessions..

We are running Pre4.0,on w2k3sp1.. any suggestions or assistance would be much appreciated!!!

I may be totally wrong here, but there's no harm in checking this out.
I found that the printer properties are kept in the client's computer registry entry

HKCU\Software\Citrix\PrinterProperties\

In the policy it might just keep adding new printer to the existing ones. I am just guessing here.

If you reset the value of that entry...
