Session parameter

When I try to edit
Session parameter $PMBadFileDir\
to
$PMBadFileDir\prod_dw\
When I close and open the session properties It takes a default directory name
$PMBadFileDir\dev_dw\
Any suggestion how I can change this directory name and why is this taking a default directory?

Is this any thing to do with the folder level permissions or any default options that I need to check?

You need to check the Informatica settings on the server.
When installing INFA you can set a number of default settings, including the defaults for source/target/log and badfile locations.

sessions go to that target and specify at the reject file directory
