We have 2 CM 5.2 PBXs with trunks to ASM 6.1. We have two trunk groups from each ASM and the route pattern is configured so that when the first trunk is maxed out or otherwise unavailable, it will route over the second trunk.
My question is, once the calls get to ASM, how does it determine which trunk (entity link) to use?
For example when calling from one PBX to the other, I would like to have it use trunk 1 leaving PBX A to ASM, then entity link 1 leaving ASM to PBX B. When trunk 1 is full and overflows to trunk 2 it should use trunk 2 leaving PBX A to ASM then entity link 2 leaving ASM to PBX B.
I can controll wich trunk is used in the PBX easilly with the route patern but if Session Manager has two routes to the same PBX (same IP, differnet ports) how does it decide which one to route the call over and can that be controlled?
