Dear cognos experts,

Does somenone know how you can adjust
the time that the session of the connection tool expires ?

My customers are complaining that they must logon after 4 hours (when they are not working in cognos connection)

Thanks in advance

Hi, in Cognos Configuration you can set an inactivity timeout in the properties of the Authentication group. Just select the Authentication option on the left, and you will see the current timeout displayed on the right hand side. Change this to whatever you want it to be in seconds (or 0 turns it off, I think), then stop and restart the ReportNet service.

Regards,

MF.
