Status: online I have an Exchange 2003 server that has been hosting email for domain 1. My wife has started a new business with a new domain name, lets say domain 2. I did my research and found out how to configure Exchange to service the new domain (ESM->Recipients->Recipient Policies->Default Policy->Properties->Email Addresses tab and then added the new SMTP address. I then enabled this new address.I checked my wife's domain account and saw that her original email (from domain 1) and the new email (from domain 2) were both listed.I did not want my wife to have to manage two different Outlook Clients, so I went into her AD user account->properties->exchange general->delivery options->forwarding address and then set the forwarding to her domain 1 account. At this point, any email sent to her either email address (domain 1 or domain 2)failed. Event log indicated an email loop which makes sense. How do I do it correctly?

Turn off the forwarding. Outlook connects to a single mailbox - regardless of how many email addresses are tied to it. All email will go into the same mailbox if both addresses are defined on the same account.
