Services not showing 4.5ga

Hi again..
I have just installed datacenter 4.5 on windows 2000 server, also installed MP4. I then installed remote administrator console on my laptop. It works fine except when I display the activity monitor and check the tabs jobs and drives it displays the correct information, but the services and process show nothing....any ideas why ? I am sure I mised some indicator or switch.
