Services Card

It's been a while for me doing N* work so I have a stupid question for you guys.

I have a customer with DR 4.1 software and a 2 port expansion card. They are looking into getting a PRI installed and I know they have to get a services card. My question is, if they have a services card, do they need to have XC software? I think the answer is no but I want to make sure.

No, XC software is not required. The services card will go in the far left slot, next to the 2-port card.

If they have the Combo expansion card they don't need the services card.

True, but it'll be less expensive to add a services card than a 6-port combo unless they expect the need for more extensions and/or trunks.
