Service Update 2 Doesn't finish!

We tried to load the service update 2, but failed.

In both cases the update stalls at the first reboot (BCM 3.7 GA without any patches). After a two hours an extra reboot or starting te update again didn't help.

We are able to get into unified manager and can see that a lot of services are down and disabled.

Has anyone had the same experience, and is there a solution for this?

I was able to get the log:

08/09/2006 5:04a - Scanning system for newer patch versions.
08/09/2006 5:07a - Scan Complete.
08/09/2006 5:07a - Validating Patch Files.
08/09/2006 5:08a - Validating Complete.
08/09/2006 5:08a - Removing mapped drives.
08/09/2006 5:08a - Saved service startup setting for alarmsvc
08/09/2006 5:08a - Saved service startup setting for ConsoleService
08/09/2006 5:08a - Disabling Services for Quick Start.
08/09/2006 5:09a - Rebooting.

And that's it.

Go to Nortel's website and look at Bulletin 2006007219. I don't know if this will be of any help to you or not. When you find a solution please post it.
