hi,

I've got Net Nanny installed on my PC and its slowing down my surfing lots.

Net Nanny runs as a service on start up and i was wondering if it's possible to configure it (as a service) to run only when specific users (eg my kids) logon ?

Can anyone help? TIA

You could write a batch file to run the service, and then use the batch file as a log on script for your kids account.

Or you could use the computer management console to find the service, and change the service settings to log on as a certian account. Make sure it is the account your kids use. Then find the location of the service and change the permissions. Remove yourself and any group you are in and setup your kids account to read and execute.

Just throwing out ideas.

thanks err...P1967F,
