Hi,

I've SCCS 5 installed/working in Windows 2003 sever. Now I need to install windows service pack 1 on the server.

If I follow the regular procedure to stop the SCCS server[stopping the services one by one], will it have any impact on SCCS during restarting, be it services, routing, or the overall health of SCCS?

Or is there an alternative way to install windows service pack 1 while SCCS is up and running on the server?

Thanks,
Amit

no you need to do the stop services and reboot, but that sp is well used without any know problems

don't take that wronge, it is microsoft and has countless problems, just not any that will keep the server down in this case

Also make sure that at least SUS0505 is installed on your SCCS 5.0 Server. Official support for SP1 is built into that SUS.
