Hi
I have just installed SP3 for Netware 5.1 on a server that had no other SP's. Until then everything was working normally. After applying SP3 the management portal gives false information in places and none at all in others. In server health there are no current/peak and max stats, the fields are blank, and when I click on one of the headings it gives me either no information or false information. Some headings do give correct information like available disk space and available ECB's but still no stats.
Also when I produce the Server Configuration report the disk information is incorrect. It reports that all volumes are below 2GB and have very small amounts of directory entries left, when in fact sys is 20GB and all other volumes are over 50GB, and store very little data at this time. I have tried logging in as different users but it makes no
difference.
When I installed the SP I received errors that two files could not be opened, from public/nls, OIDMSG.IDX and OIDNAME.MSG. Once the service pack install was complete I copied these files to the server manually. I have also noticed that when the server boots is seems to take a lotlonger to load, especially when it is scanning for devices and partitions. I have not installed any other patches, and chose to backup the old files so I could roll back.
Apart from this everything else seems normal, the server has only been running for 4 days with SP3. Third party products I am running are Arcserve 7 for Netware (yuk!) and Netshield 4.5.
Any advice would be appreciated.
