Service Observing Unit

Just wanted to let you all know about a product I just found out about. I have a customer that wanted to remotely listen in on employee calls on a out-dialing sales group. Magix only does the service observing from a digital extension. A old friend told me about a Viking SO-24a (silent observ.) unit to be used with a remote access device. It worked great. Programming was a little differant but it works great. Have never had many requests for this, but its nice to know a reliable solution when you need one.

go to the viking web site and you can download the .pdf file that shows the wiring. I used single line sets to be observed. and you can use a anolog ext. or a dedicated pots line for access. Use a rad-1 and a so-24a. You will need a split 66 block and a anfinal(sp) cable.
