The system is a BCM50 R2.0, with callpilot and contact center. Recently the user started manually changing the service mode from the main console using F982.
The service mode will change from day to night by itself, when it is clearly day hours. the user has reported having to manually change back to day service as many times as 4 times a day.
I did find a schedule setup in the skillset, but the hours clearly showed day service starting at 7am and night starting at 9pm. the change to night service occurs during the regular business hours.
I have loaded the latest R2.0 su patch but it did not help or make a difference.
I have blank the schedule and left the skillset on a 24hr daytime service and it seems stable, but I am not confident that is the fix.
