Hi,
IT Manager has left suddenly and taken alot of knowledge with him. In a security bid the administrator passwords were changed to all servers. Now the SQL Service Manager won't start due to a login error. Is this the password stored in Active Directory IUSR_SQLSERVER???? If not what do I do to get all our databases back up and running??
Thank you for any help you can give.
Jo.

click start -> run
type: services.msc
scroll down to MSSQLSERVER
right click -> properties
click 'Log On' tab.

You probably have it set to a specific account. Since the password changed, you need to change it here too.
