Hi All,

Sorry - I am not well versed in the world of servers etc. I have a batch script that runs an SC command to disalbe / stop then enable / start services overnight. We are moving "some" of the servers to a datacentre behind a firewall. Does anyone know the default port that the SC command uses?

Thanks,

M.

That would use RPC which I believe starts out on Port 135.

Thanks for your input Neill, much appreciated.

Neill besides RPC if you are using SC to activate remote servers then you have to have the basic MS NetBIOS port TCP 138,139,445 active also
