ServerVariables("LOGON_USER") Authentication in NT

Hi..
I am trying to implement security for a web site in which I am retrieving the currently logged on user through ServerVariables("LOGON_USER&quot, which is fine. Does anyone know how to authenticate against users in NT using this info, as to user groups?

OK...I found the answer mself....

For anyone else who may come across this problem, heres one solution...

The best solution found was to use an activeX DLL which calls upon the netapi32 group of API functions for NT/Win2000.

You can use these functions to get almost any information about a user if they are logged into an NT/Win2000 domain
