Servers share AD users through a PIX DMZ

We have an employee webpage on a PIX DMZ that I need to password. I want to use the same AD usernames and passwords from our internal network.

Is there a way for me to safely get these two machines to talk so that the logins to the employee webpage is the same is the same as the internal AD usernames and passwords?
