Servers grayed out

I'm trying to create a backup job, and the servers I want to select are grayed out, so I can't expand any of their shares. I have permissions to these shares, and can map to them through explorer, but for some reason it won't work in BE. Using BE 8.6 3878.

Duh. Nevermind...I had a new install of BE, and I forgot to put in the SN for the remote agent option on the backup server.

We are using Backup Exec 8.6 to backup about 12 servers and recently purchased an HP Autoloader 1/9 to consolidate alot of this. In order to do this I understand that we need to purchase remote agent. What is the price range per server? Is there a volume discount? Is there a way to do this using Backup Exec without purchasing the additional product?
