We have 2 SQL 6.5 servers that have a null value for @@servername. We would like to run the 7.0 upgrade but without a value in this field the upgrade or replication won't work. I've tried the sp_addserver functiona and the sp_setnetname with no success. I recently saw an article that mentioned sp_dropserver and then and sp_addserver. If anyone has ran into this please let me know what you did to fix it.<br>

I've had to go into the sysservers table in the master database and edit the svrid value to correct this problem.&nbsp;&nbsp; The svrid value should be '0' (zero) for the local server.
