Hello everyone.
I have a simple setup of an sbs08 server running RRAS. It works flawless but when someone connects via vpn it creates a 2nd DNS entry for the sbs08 server.
ie:
srv IP= 192.168.1.2
if someone vpn's:
srv IP= 192.168.1.51
Is there a way to prevent that 2nd DNS entry from being created? At least that's what I've been observing when the 2nd entry is created. I do see that 51 address under RRAS - IPv4 - General - Internal (IP address column).
My DHCP scope for distribution is 192.168.1.50~254
I am excluding 192.168.1.51~70 for VPN which I set on the RRASS manager by right clicking on the server name - IPv4 tab - selecting Static address pool and entering my excluded range.
Is this normal behaviour for RRAS?
thank you
