Server Upgrade

I am currently running CM 1.3 on duplicated S8700 series servers. I have ordered new servers S8730's with CM 5.0. Is it possible to export a config file from 1.3 and import it into 5.0 or must the new servers be configured from scratch. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you can load the "XLN" (translation file), you will probably have to make a lot of changes to it as well, depending on what the media gateway hardware now looks like.

You backup the translation, load it via the "backup/restore" in the web browser, login to Cm, and do a "reset system 4" to get the translation loaded... it's vey easy.
