Hello knowlegeable ones,

I am in the process of upgrading two servers from WinNT 4.0, Exchange 5.5 to Win2K, Exchange 2K.

Where do I start?! The servers are in different sites, but in the same domain.

Should I upgrade the Exchange Server application first, and then the Windows operating system? Or should I upgrade the servers to W2K and then follow with the Exchange update?

All of our other servers have already been upgraded to W2K server, and Active Directory is in place. Because we are still running Exchange 5.5, the groups are different than in AD. Will AD synchronize with the Exchange database, or will I have to creat groups from scratch in AD and then let the Exchange server use AD?

Thank you for any input that you may offer!
